Summit Overview

The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidenced-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community.

The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.

Our Partners

The Community Oncology Alliance (COA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for community oncology practices and, most importantly, the patients they serve. COA is the only organization dedicated solely to community oncology where the majority of Americans with cancer are treated. The mission of COA is to ensure that cancer patients receive quality, affordable, and accessible cancer care in their own communities.

COA represents all the diverse members of the cancer care system. As the only organization dedicated solely to representing, supporting, and recognizing community oncology, COA is truly the voice of community oncology.

COA is proud to count individuals from all levels of the cancer care delivery system as members, including oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, mid-level providers, oncology nurses, patients, survivors, industry representatives, and even oncology fellows.

APAOThe Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology (APAO) is a non-profit 501(c) specialty organization affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) that consists of physician assistants working in the field of oncology.  It is the only national organization representing PAs specializing in oncology.  Our members work in all oncology disciplines and practice in both clinical and research settings.

Loved the topics covered and plan to come to the Portland conference in Oct and will bring the other mid level from our clinic. The hotel did a great job with the room and food. No complaints! Very organized and loved the amount of pharmaceutical involvement and support.

Thank you for great review. It is quite helpful for primary care provider like me. I have found information such as pain management, genetic testing, marijuana and integrative medicine are quite helpful for me.
