**Pre-Registration & Additional Fee of $30 Required to Participate in this Session. Limit 12 learners.**

Session Overview
During this hands-on educational activity, learners will review the steps for preparing patients for a bone marrow aspiration/biopsy procedure. 2. Determine the indications and contraindication for bone marrow aspiration or core biopsy

  3. Describe how to anesthetize skin, subcutaneous tissue and periosteum in advance of a bone marrow aspiration or core biopsy

  4. Illustrate the proper technique for performing manual and powered bone marrow aspiration and core biopsy via simulation
