COVID-19 & Health Safety Precautions
Based on the current COVID guidelines from the recent Honolulu Mayor’s press conference and the hotel, we will be able to hold the Honolulu APP Oncology Summit as an in-person conference by following City and County guidelines.

All attendees must be vaccinated, must wear masks, and be physically distanced. (We had allowed people to provide a negative COVID test with 72 hours of the conference to attend but that is no longer an option based on Hawaii’s COVID guidelines.)

  1. No food is allowed in indoor event spaces (coffee, tea, water, and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed and will be provided in the event spaces)
  2. The hotel has a Pool Terrace on the 3rd floor of the main hotel and will hold breakfast and lunch there. We will have maps and directional signage to the Pool Terrace and will make sure that registrants are aware of this prior to the conference.
    • Self-Serve buffet is not allowed so the hotel will offer Served Buffet by chef attendants or serve Family Style.
  3. We will be able to offer coffee, tea, and non-alcohol beverages during the breaks in the Exhibitor Hall.

Travel to Hawaii

To avoid mandatory quarantine, the Vaccination Exception Program is an option for those who have been vaccinated in the United States (including its Territories). Details at https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/faqs/. The State of Hawai‘i will ONLY accept Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test results from TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS, including any tests verified through the State’s Digital Health Pass Partners – AZOVA, CLEAR and CommonPass. Make sure all questions are answered. You can find more information about travel requirements to Hawaii at https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/getting-to-hawaii/.

Please let us know if you any questions. Travel safe and we look forward to seeing you in at the conference!

*In the rare instance that safety measures would bar us from having an in-person meeting, the summit will be held as a virtual (online) program on the same dates the in-person program would have been held. All attendees will be notified before the date of the conference.

Course Overview
The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidence-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community.

The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.

Intended Learners
APP Oncology Summits are developed with and for advanced practice providers including NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurses.
