Welcome to the Advanced Practice Providers Oncology Summit, the CE conference devoted to providing the latest developments in the multidisciplinary treatment, practical patient management, and interprofessional care of oncology patients.
Join us for this two-day program in warm, sunny Honolulu to earn CE credits and learn the latest clinical and practical strategies to improve care for your oncology patients and communication within your healthcare team.
COVID-19 & Health Safety Precautions
Based on the current COVID guidelines from the recent Honolulu Mayor’s press conference and the hotel, we will be able to hold the Honolulu APP Oncology Summit as an in-person conference by following City and County guidelines.
All attendees must be vaccinated, must wear masks, and be physically distanced. (We had allowed people to provide a negative COVID test with 72 hours of the conference to attend but that is no longer an option based on Hawaii’s COVID guidelines.)
Travel to Hawaii
To avoid mandatory quarantine, the Vaccination Exception Program is an option for those who have been vaccinated in the United States (including its Territories). Details at https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/faqs/. The State of Hawai‘i will ONLY accept Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test results from TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS, including any tests verified through the State’s Digital Health Pass Partners – AZOVA, CLEAR and CommonPass. For the full list of Domestic trans-Pacific, International and airline partners, go to https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/.
You will need to register an account on Travel Hawaii (https://travel.hawaii.gov) and put in your flight plans and submit your vaccination card or COVD test results in advance of your travel, ideally at least several days before your travel. 24 hours before your flight there will be a list of questions sent by Travel Hawaii that you will need to complete as well. Make sure all questions are answered. You can find more information about travel requirements to Hawaii at https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/getting-to-hawaii/.
Please let us know if you any questions. Travel safe and we look forward to seeing you in at the conference!
*In the rare instance that safety measures would bar us from having an in-person meeting, the summit will be held as a virtual (online) program on the same dates the in-person program would have been held. All attendees will be notified before the date of the conference.

The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidence-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community.
The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.
APP Oncology Summits are developed with and for advanced practice providers including NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurses.
As part of the multidisciplinary team in the care of cancer patients, students, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of cancer patients are also welcome to attend.
