Course Overview
The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidenced-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community. 

The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.

Intended Learners
Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Oncology Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of oncology patients.

CE Information

AANP
This educational activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners for approval of up to 12.0 contact hours of accredited education (including 3.0 hours pharmacology).

AAPA
This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 12.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Total number of approved credits yet to be determined.

ACPE
This activity has been submitted to the Washington State Pharmacy Association for approval to award up to 12.0 credit hours. Washington State Pharmacy Association is accredited as an approver of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

ANCC
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation through the joint providership of the Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation and Horizon CME. 

The Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Upon completion, NPs and RNs will be awarded up to 12 contact hours. 

How to obtain credit for attendance (eligibility requirement and process for obtaining certificate)
To receive documentation of credit, participants must:

  2. Complete the online evaluation form
